1. About the game.

This is the second fan game that I've made back in 2008, the first being "Gryz' Quest". This game also takes place in AW2283, roughly a year before Phantasy Star IV.
You play as Kyra who along with her friend Kalsu, try to discover what is causing a strange illness on a small island called The Cat's Claw. This minor mission turns into
a much more important one as they discover an evil entity which is changing the Dezolis climate to be even colder using an abandoned Climate Control Center which is still
operational. This fan game also starts with a small intro explaining a little of Algo's past and ending with a "to be continued" like feeling as in my first fan game, Gryz' Quest.

2. Credits

I worked by myself on the creation of this project as well, but I did use a few different resources which will be mentioned below in the next section.

Author/creator of game: Danny/Recca
The boss sprites were ripped by me from Phantasy Star IV. Kurei's faceset is Juza's and his charset and battle animations are that of Chaz, which I edited.
Kalsu's faceset was edited from one of the NPC Espers in Phantasy Star IV and his battle animations ware an edit of Kyra's. As for Honin, his faceset was an edit from Gyuna.
I've also ripped some tiles and various other graphics that were used in different chipsets.

Note: I've added a font patch that should be used in the Kyra's Quest folder where the game is to fix the text if it looks messy.
To play Kyra's Quest, simply extract the .izh file then use the install file in the folder where your game is. It's pretty straight forward.

3. Special thanks

- Don Miguel for translating RPG Maker 2000 in English for everyone to use. I also used the same ship design as the one in Don's adventures near the end of this game.

- Rodrigo from PSCave for allowing me to use some of his resources from his fan game, Raja's Adventure.
The Esper chipset along with some of the monsters were also used with his permission in this fan game.

- Sega for creating the Phantasy Star series, which this fan game is based on.

- Yasunori Mitsuda and veteran Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu for composing the music in Chrono Trigger. I used some remixed versions of various tracks.

- Enterbrain and ASCII for creating and publishing RPG Maker 2000.

- Wolf Team and Namco for creating and publishing Tales of Phantasia. I thought that I should mention them as well since I used a few remixed midi songs from that game.

- PSCave and Dynamic-Designs for hosting.
